Since 1981.
30 years of the best clubbing.
Numbers Dance Club was established in June 1981 by Peter
Crowder and Peter Thesen at an old cinema building on the outskirts of Beacon
Bay, East London. In 1993 Numbers moved to the East London beachfront as anchor
tenant in the newly established Kings Centre. Since 2002 it has been situated in
a purpose-designed free standing building at The Hub Centre, Beacon Bay.
Numbers is widely regarded as one of the top venues in the country and has been
at the forefront of nightclub design and interior décor as well as specialized
effect lighting and audio equipment. It has introduced numerous original concept
parties and music theme nights in addition to bringing many top local and
international deejays, radio presenters, music groups, comedians and cabaret
shows to East London.
Numbers has retained a fresh appeal over a 30 year period by providing a variety
of quality entertainment for different age categories and segments within the
market, which has kept generations of patrons supporting it. Furthermore, the
club attracts a truly cosmopolitan crowd reflecting the positive changes in
South Africa.
